Support of 64 bit environments

translate 12 is a 32 bit application which is compatible with 64 bit variants of Windows, this applies particularly to the main application of translate, translate web and click&translate.

The operability of the Add-Ins in other applications (particularly MS Office) depends on whether the other application is also a 32 bit application, because components of translate must be loaded into the other application. Therefor the Add-Ins do not work for example with a 64 bit version of MS Office. translate 12 ist als 32Bit-Anwendung unter 64Bit-Varianten von Windows lauffähig, dies gilt insbesondere für die Hauptanwendung von translate, für translate web and für click&translate.

* For the office dictionaries version 2.0, first edition, an update might be necessary in order to be able to execute the software under Windows Vista or Windows 7. You will find further information about the office dictionary in our service area.

** Please note that during the installation sufficient free space must be available for temporary files. Please ensure that approximately the same amount of free space as indicated at "Free space on hard disk" is available on the partition your TEMP directory is located on. After sucessfull installation this storage will be released again.
